From Venice: Cortina and Dolomites Mountains Day Trip

About This Experience
Venice Events has run this route long enough to collect 399 reviews at 4.7 out of 5. It is the lake-hopping version of the Venice day trip: more short stops, and the most time at Misurina.
Heading north you pause at Lake Santa Croce in the Alpago, then Pieve di Cadore for a short walk and a coffee, then the Auronzo lake. Lake Misurina gets two hours of free time with an optional lunch; Cortina d'Ampezzo gets half an hour at the end.
The driver speaks English and Italian but is not a licensed tour guide, which keeps the day informal. There is a shared option for up to eight and a private option at a higher price. The listing still mentions Faloria for views, but the Faloria cable car is closed from September to the end of June, so in autumn that part does not happen.

The trip exceeded my expectations. The guide cum driver was on time and at the designated place. He introduced himself nicely and guided us through out the tour very nicely. He was extremely helpful to get us all required informations and allowed us all the free time necessary to explore the place. He guided us to best part of the locations and even to very nice restaurants as well. I will highly recommend this tour to all.
