The meeting point is Tronchetto, beside the People Mover stop. After a coffee break on the way up you get about seventy minutes in Cortina d'Ampezzo, including the Corso Italia, then drive over the Passo Tre Croci road to Lake Misurina for two hours — time for the shore walk and lunch.

The last stop is a forty-minute walk at the Auronzo lake before the drive back to Venice. The operator runs the tour in all weather, which is worth knowing in late autumn: a grey day will not cancel it, but it will change what you see.

Misurina's chairlift to Col de Varda and the rowing-boat hire run only from mid-June to mid-September, so from late September the lake stop is a walk.

The trip was amazing, the views absolutely stunning! Our guide was lovely, I can’t remember her name but she was knowledgeable and even translated into Spanish what she was saying through the trip so we all were included. The only downside is the guests were late getting onto the bus each time which made us late and made me and my husband miss a booking afterwards (over an hour late back to Venice).

Overall a very pleasant day. Views were spectacular! It was well organised and we had a good amount of time at each stop. Didn’t feel rushed. We would have liked to have learned a bit more about the Dolomites during the journey instead of just random facts about the language or the places we were passing though. Additionally, the guide was friendly but we found his commentary a bit bland and struggled to stay awake to focus on it. It would have also been good for the guide to make a few more suggestions for places to visit or eat at, or where the bathrooms were. We had to do our own research.
