About This Experience

From Verona, this is the guided way to reach the western Dolomites in a day. 137 guests have rated it 4.8 out of 5.

The coach leaves from the Cavour statue in front of Castelvecchio and takes the motorway north, with a coffee stop and a pause at Lake Soraga, passing through Moena or Cavalese. You arrive at Sass Pordoi near Canazei around noon for an hour and a half: lunch, the views, and the option of the cable car to the summit terrace, from where the Sella and Marmolada groups spread out around you.

The afternoon is spent in Ortisei in Val Gardena before the coach heads back to Verona around 4:30pm. The cable car ticket, about €30, is not included.

This one is strictly a summer tour: the last date on the calendar when we checked was 2 October 2026.

We really enjoyed the tour. Fantastic scenery and a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide who really wanted everybody to make the most of the day. The driver negotiated the bends well - there were not too many very sharp bends. We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent trip, best guide ever, Chiara, always explaining and telling us all kind of details. Best driver for the pass, Guillermo, I think. Landscapes were magnificent, worth all the money
