About This Experience

The classic loop around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo — about 10 km and 400 m of ascent in five hours — with a local guide who covers the geology, the First World War front line and the wildlife as you walk. All 23 reviewers have rated it 5 out of 5.

The guide collects you at Lake Misurina and drives the group up the toll road to Rifugio Auronzo; the €40 car toll is included. From there the route goes to Forcella Lavaredo at about 2,450 m, round to Rifugio Locatelli beneath the north faces, over Forcella Col di Mezzo and back to Auronzo.

A backpack, a litre of water, hiking shoes, a rain jacket and a phone are mandatory. Food is not provided and the huts close in autumn — Locatelli published its 2026 season as ending on 27 September — so bring a packed lunch.
