About This Experience

One of two Venice day trips here that walk on the Tre Cime trail itself rather than stopping at a viewpoint, and the one built entirely around it. Seven guests have reviewed it at 4.7 out of 5, so treat the rating as early.

The van reaches the Tre Cime around 10am. You go up to Rifugio Auronzo at about 2,200 m on foot or by minivan, then walk with the guide over Forcella Lavaredo, past the dinosaur tracks, towards Rifugio Locatelli — around 400 m of ascent in all. After three hours on the trail the day finishes at Lake Misurina and Cortina.

Pickup can be in Venice or at Lido di Jesolo. The operator asks guests to confirm the date by email before booking — essential late in the season, when the toll road and huts close.

A fantastic tour of the Dolomites. Our tour guide Fabio provided a very interesting and informative commentary on the drive to the Dolomites. Along the way we stopped off at some scenic spots for photos. After arriving Fabio walked us to the best viewing spots. He also made sure we had stops for toilets and food and took us to a great spot for lunch. This tour has been one of the highlights of our European trip.
